Excavate & clear
We strip the top layer of grass and organic material from the footprint and dig to the right depth for your pad and base. Organic matter under a pad rots and creates voids — we get it out.
Grade for drainage
The site is graded so water moves away from the pad, not toward it. In DFW downpours, drainage is what keeps a shed pad from washing out underneath.
Compact & level
The sub-base is compacted and leveled to a flat surface. This is the foundation for the foundation — a compacted base means the concrete pad above it stays put.
